Can you say....HOT MESS??

In addition to the fact that my locks would never be able to have that "oh so fresh" look, I was also dealing with the fact that my relaxed hair was looking stringy. It was a horrible transition period. I washed my hair in hopes that the relaxed hair would at least look a little fuzzy. You can see in the pictures below that the natural half is thicker than the "scraggly" (is that a word) relaxed half. That didn't work. Honestly, if my hair had not been interlocked, I would have taken that hot mess down and tried a different transition method to natural hair....but I was stuck....so I had to go to plan B....
