Okay....so I wasn't exactly ecstatic about the look but I was braced to deal with it until my hair would lock....EYES ON THE PRIZE. I decided to try the interlocking method for grooming. I determined it would be less messy...no wax or gel...and it wouldn't uncoil like the palm rolled locs might. You can see the results in the pics below. What I found right away was that my locs were a bit too large for me to get the results “I” desired from interlocking. I ran into a major snag, I’m TENDERHEADED!!! Interlocking locs this size HURT to get really close to the scalp, so I would have to suffer with the pain or deal with having new growth after grooming and never have a totally “fresh” look. Well…..I decided the first time I interlocked would be the last time…L
